CHERYL PRZEZDZIECKI, LMHC, LPC | She/Her

Founder | Clinical Director

Cheryl is the Founder and Clinical Director of The Women’s Center, where she leads with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, ethical care, and collaborative leadership. She oversees the delivery of services, provides supervision to pre-licensed clinicians, and cultivates a practice culture grounded in compassion, integrity, and trauma-informed principles.

Cheryl holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Westfield State University and has advanced training in Trauma-Informed Care. As a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC), Cheryl specializes in relational trauma, narcissistic abuse, and the nuanced dynamics of power and control. Her approach blends clinical depth with empathy, helping both clients and clinicians strengthen self-trust, resilience, and meaningful growth. She is especially dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by childhood abuse, relational trauma, and enduring patterns of harm rooted in family systems. She strives to create environments where people feel safe, validated, and empowered to heal and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Cheryl is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Florida, and also serves as a Graduate Supervisor at Westfield State University, where she mentors future clinicians in the counseling field.

ALEX MARGOSIAN, LICSW, LPC | She/Her

Licensed Social Worker | Clinical Supervisor

Alex graduated with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Trauma Specialization Certificate from Boston University in 2012. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in processing the many ways that trauma has impacted their lives and specifically specializes in treating complex trauma, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Substance Use Disorders (SUD), depression, and anxiety. Alex is licensed to provide services to clients located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Florida.

Alex’s approach is based on advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Alex also integrates narrative therapy practices and draws upon her lived experience, including as a woman of color. Her intention is to approach this work and the therapeutic relationships with her clients with clarity, flexibility, and some humor. Alex understands that seeking out therapy, or starting with a new therapist, can be very intimidating and may carry pain from past experiences of vulnerability or power differentials. Alex endeavors to bring her most genuine self to this work in order to create a tone where healing and growth can be held in a relationship that allows for the most difficult things to be said out loud.

SAM BURNS, LMHC, LPC | She/They

Licensed Therapist | Clinical Supervisor

Earning their master's degree in counseling psychology from Bay Path University, Sam spent several years working in community mental health, gaining valuable experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, mood disorders, and more. Bringing that knowledge and expertise to our team, Sam understands that therapy is not a one-approach-fits-all solution. Everyone has different needs and preferences, so Sam utilizes an eclectic approach to work with each individual to find the right fit for them.

Sam's approach focuses on a person-centered treatment using a trauma-informed lens while pulling pieces primarily from DBT techniques, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and CBT. Along with a strong focus on depression and anxiety treatment, Sam specializes in supporting survivors of domestic violence, assisting clients in understanding healthy relationship patterns and self-esteem issues and encouraging individuals to gain confidence to be their own self-advocate.

She utilizes an eclectic array of techniques to facilitate the exploration of the underlying causes of pain and suffering, fostering awareness, prioritization, compassion, self-care, and trust, and supporting clients in reclaiming their personal strength and empowerment.
