In April 2024, The Women’s Center celebrated an extraordinary milestone as our founder and Clinical Director, Cheryl Przezdziecki, was named the local winner of the 2024 Remarkable Women award. This incredible honor, part of Nexstar Media’s nationwide initiative, uplifts the powerful stories of women who are making meaningful, lasting change in their communities and beyond.
From over 30,000 nominations across the country, Cheryl was chosen as one of only 112 women to represent her community at the national ceremony in Los Angeles - a deeply moving event that shines a light on the strength, compassion, and transformative impact of women leaders across the nation.
Cheryl’s recognition goes beyond professional achievement; it celebrates the profound care, vision, and passion she brings to every aspect of her work. Her approach serves as a powerful reminder of the impact thoughtful, intentional leadership can have on both individuals and communities.
